We would like to thank all those that came to our exclusive event to help celebrate our tenth anniversary.
It was such a great time and one we'll look back on with a fond memory.
Reflection on ten years in business
September 17th, 2009
It is with great pride and excitement that this month we celebrate our company's 10th Anniversary. As we've approached this milestone, we have been reflecting on the journey so far.
We remember the early days when we were working from the basement in our home. The desks were so close together that we had to coordinate when we were getting up to avoid collision and possible injury. We only had two phone lines: one for phone calls and one for faxes. Our only connection to the World Wide Web was through dial-up, so e-mails were retrieved after hours so it didn't interfere with potential incoming calls. Now we have multiple lines, cell phones, DSL, remote phone extensions, voice mail to e-mail systems and the list goes on. How did we cope without all these "necessities"?
During the last ten years, we've had one eye on the horizon but we've also focused on the accumulation of little things that led to where we are today. We have fond memories of the first referrals, clients and employees.
We realize how important the support given to us by our family, friends and colleagues was, and still is, to our personal and company's well-being. It's also great to reflect on the magic that happens when we work together with other professionals to achieve a mutual goal with our clients.
We don't forget our business partners that have helped us with accounting, payroll, employee benefits, branding, advertising, telecommunications and trademark legalities to name but a few. All have given their best and have helped us with our challenges.
Most importantly, we appreciate the input and dedication to the company from our employees. Our first employees had only a fraction of what we offer today. However, we gave them our vision, and our dreams became their dreams. All of our employees have created what we can now see so clearly before us.
We have reached an important milestone in our company's journey, but we haven't reached our destination. We are excited to work towards our future goals.
